Easy Recipe - Chicken a la Merengo

Prepare a young chicken as for fricassee. Fry each piece in olive oil, add a sprig of parsley, a slice of onion, salt and pepper, and five mushrooms if you have them. Cook slowly about ¾ of an hour. Serve with cream sauce.

  1. This recipe seems easy enough. I found a recipe for cream sauce that went great with it. I work for Better Recipes so I am always reviewing recipes which is great because I tend to find dishes that I use in my daily life. I love Easy Recipes so when I find ones like this its great because when I get home from work the last thing I want to do is spend a ton of time cooking.
